One of the key aims of IPAA Tasmania is to promote and recognise excellence in public service practices and activities.

We offer a series of awards ranging from recognition of outstanding academic achievement, excellence in professional practice by individuals and teams, and the highest accolade for IPAA members, a National Fellow.

Our awards include:

To be made a National Fellow is the highest accolade for IPAA members. This prestigious award recognises the recipient’s outstanding contribution to the practice and study of public administration.

Public Sector Excellence Awards

The Public Sector Excellence Awards recognise outstanding individuals and teams who are leading the way in public administration and making a positive difference for the Tasmanian community.

PSM Program Workplace Project Awards

PSM

IPAA Tasmania presents a prize to the Public Sector Management Program graduate with the highest mark in the work based project at the annual Public Sector Management Program graduation.

Student Awards

Student_Awards

IPAA Tasmania, in conjunction with University of Tasmania School of Social Sciences, award three prizes each year to the highest achievers in policy units at the University of Tasmania.

Acknowledgement of Country

IPAA Tasmania acknowledges the traditional owners of country across lutruwita (Tasmania) and throughout Australia, and their continuing connection with Land, Sea, Waterways and Sky. We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
