The annual State Budget is a vital mechanism for responding to community priorities and broader economic challenges and opportunities, including cost of living increases, infrastructure imperatives, labour market and supply-chain trends.
This flagship event in the IPAA Tasmania calendar offers an insider’s view of the State Budget and an opportunity to explore what this budget means for Tasmanians and our public sector in 2024-25.
Hear from Gary Swain, Secretary of the Department of Treasury and Finance, as he delivers his first IPAA State Budget Briefing keynote presentation, along with a panel of public sector leaders and experts for first hand insights into the development of the 2024-25 Tasmanian Budget and the financial implications for our State in the coming year.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions from the floor. To enable an interactive and open discussion this event will operate under Chatham House rules.
