Individual Membership

The fee for an individual member is $104 for the 2011/12 membership year.  A special rate of $52 is provided for students. As an individual member you will receive all the benefits listed below.

Corporate Membership

In addition to providing access to a wide range of benefits for staff, by becoming a Corporate Member of the Institute of Public Administration (IPAA) your organisation can support the advancement of public sector administration in Tasmania.

There are three different corporate membership levels based on the size of your organisation or business unit.  Corporate membership entitles a prescribed number of nominated staff from your organisation or business unit to all the benefits and rights of private membership, plus lower admission fees to events held by the Institute for all your staff.

Benefits of membership

There are a wide range of personal, professional and corporate benefits from membership of IPAA, including the following:

  1. All private members, including nominated corporate member representatives, receive the two IPAA quarterly publications; the Australian Journal of Public Administration, a peer reviewed journal committed to the study and practice of public administration, public management and policy making, and Public Administration Today, a practitioner publication that aims to facilitate debate and disseminate information about major trends and developments in public sector management in Australia.
  2. Lower admission fees to forums, seminars and special events.
